ODS Tower

The following excerpt, taken from the DJC June 1998 edition, describes in greater detail the ODS Tower project in more detail.

Standing 300 feet tall, the ODS Tower in downtown Portland is a 24-story, mixed-se development consisting of retail, office and parking. The 32,600-square-foot retail component is located on the ground and second floors, and 600 parking stalls are located on the second through sixth floors. The 374,000-square foot office component includes a mid-block, double-height entrance lobby at grade level and 17 levels of office floors above the six-story retail and parking base structure. The seven-level concrete "base" of the structure is built of conventional and post-tension concrete. The top 17 floors of the office tower are steel-framed, consisting of a brace-frame core and ductile-frame perimeter. The foundation system is primarily steel-driven piling.
